ITINERARY

DAY 1: TOKYO - HOTEL CHECK IN 

Head to the hotel with shared taxis. Enjoy free time at leisure.

Day 2: TOKYO - Sightseeing tour (Public Transportation) 

(English speaking guide) Visit Hamarikyu Garden, Asakusa (Nakamise Shopping Street and Sensoji), Ueno (Toshogu Shrine, Shinobazu Pond), Meiji Shrine and the Shibuya Crossing & Hachiko Statue. 

Day 3: TOKYO - Free day at leisure OR Option 1 

OPTION 1: Yanesen Half Day Walking Tour (Public Transportation): (English speaking assistant) Take a stroll around the historical district of Tokyo with a old down town atmosphere. 

Day 4: KAMAKURA - Sightseeing tour (Public Transportation) (English speaking guide) Take the train to Kamakura, a city in Kanagawa prefecture, and explore Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the Great Buddha and Hase Temple. 

Day 5: TOKYO - TAKAYAMA - Sightseeing tour (Public Transportation) (English speaking guide) Transfer to Takayama with the bullet train and express train via Nagoya. Then in Takayama old town, visit Takayama Jinya and Kami Sannomachi. Enjoy the traditional hotspring onsen in Takayama.*Prepare an overnight luggage for 2 nights as your luggage will be sent straight to Kyoto 

Day 6: TAKAYAMA - SHIRAKAWAGO - KANAZAWA Sightseeing 

Day 7: KANAZAWA - KYOTO - (Public Transportation) Using the bullet train, transfer from Kanazawa on your own to Kyoto, where an English assistant will be waiting for your arrival. 

Day 8: KYOTO - Sightseeing tour (Public Transportation) (English speaking guide) Visit Nijojo, Kinkakuji, Ryoanji, Tenryuji, Bamboo Grove, Togetsukyo Bridge. Lunch will be included. 

Day 9: KYOTO - Free day at leisure OR Option 2 tour (Public Transportation)  (English speaking guide) Take the bus to Shirakawago and visit the traditional village with houses with thatched roofs. Then, take the bus to Kanazawa to visit the Nomura Samurai House in Nagamachi District and Kenrokuen. 

OPTION 2: Nara & Fushimi Inari Sighseeing (Public Transportation):(English speaking guide) Visit Nara, the old capital of Japan and stop by at the Fushimi Inari, famous for its several thousand torii gates. 

Day 10: KYOTO - KIX (Airport Shuttle) OR Extension Plan 

Head to the airport using the airport shuttle and return back home. 

EXTENSION PLAN: Hiroshima & Osaka (3D2N) (Public Transportation): (English Speaking Guide) Transfer to Hiroshima using the bullet train and visit the famous Itsukushima Shrine, Peace Memorial Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Stay the night in Hiroshima and travel to Osaka the next day and enjoy free time at leisure. On the next day, head to the airport using the airport shuttle to return back home.

The deposit and balance of the payment:
When you make your booking, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of £250.00 per person, or the full price if within 10 weeks of departure or when booking a special offer. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 10 weeks before your departure date. If the deposit and/or balance is not paid in time, we shall cancel your travel arrangements. If the balance is not paid in time, we shall retain
your deposit. All monies you pay to the travel agent are held by him on our behalf at all times.
