The streets are lined with white-walled samurai residences, merchant houses, and Edo-style architecture. Wandering through these timeworn lanes, you can almost hear the quiet footsteps of a kimono-clad samurai or the bustling activity of feudal merchants.
Less than 2 hours train journey from Shinjuku station you will find beautiful Ashikaga Flower Park. The garden in the park is filled with seasonal flowers, and the park is decorated with seasonal flowers at different times of the year.
