Day 1

AM flight from Haneda Airport to Kushiro

Private Transfer to the Kushiro Marsh Canoe Experience (Kushiro River is

known as Japan's widest wetland) Great way to see Hokkaido's animals and birds.

13:00 Lunch

Transfer to the beautiful Lake Akan Tsuruga Onsen Resort Hotel. This luxury hotel has a spa, onsen, Lake Akan view, a few restaurants. 

Lake Akan has a hot spring town and also a place where the Ainu live and
inherit their culture.

Day 2

After the breakfast you will explore Wonder Forest. A premium forest walk that allows you to enter the forest only when accompanied by a guide.  Highlights: The hot springs that are the roots of Akanko Onsen and the huge katsura trees.

After Lunch transfer to the Akan Mashu National Park. 

16:00 visit Akkeshi whiskey. You won't be disappointed by fresh oysters and whiskey tasting which can be done only at this bar.

Akkeshi whiskey, deep fog containing sea air, clear air, and abundant peat.

Believing that the climate of Akkeshi, Hokkaido will create the flavour of the
unknown Japanese whiskey we seek, started distilling in 2016.

Private Transfer to Kushiro town. For the dinner you will taste Robata.

Robatayaki is a charcoal-grilled way to grill fresh seafood. Kushiro is said to be the
origin of serving seafood in a robata style. There are many restaurants that
offer robatayaki, such as old-fashioned robata restaurants where you can enjoy
juicy seafood grilled by skilled hands around the sunken hearth, and robata where
you can enjoy grilling your own ingredients.

Day 3

Transfer to the airport. Depart for  New Chitose Airport.

After Lunch visit Upopoy, Great Buddha Hall, Jozankei Area. Overnight at Stay at Jozankei Yuraku Soan. Traditional Kaiseki dinner is included. Rooms with the private hot spring bath are available.

Upopoy : Efforts to promote Ainu culture and raise public awareness face several challenges. The Ainu language and traditional crafts are at risk of survival due to a decline in the number of people who have inherited them, while the understanding of Ainu history and culture remains low.
Upopoy is not only a space and facility to disseminate Ainu culture, but it is also a base for larger efforts to revive and expand Ainu culture, which is a valuable culture for Japan, but is still under threat. 

Day 4

After the breakfast transfer to Otaru. Explore Otaru canal, sea market, visit Yoichi Nikka whiskey and wineries. Overnight in Otaru.

YOICHI NIKKA Whisky: The distillery was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whiskey. 

Day 5

After the breakfast transfer to Sapporo. Explore Sapporo, sake tasting. Overnight at Sapporo Grand.
